Product Definition and Technical Specifications

The REDOX kit contains 9 coolant hoses made from polyester-reinforced multi-layer VMQ silicone, designed to fully replace the original cooling circuit hoses of the Peugeot 309 GTI 8V. Each hose is hand-wound and oven-vulcanised, delivering a wall thickness of 4 mm (3 plies) and a temperature resistance of -50°C to +180°C. Direct-fit installation with no vehicle modifications required. High-quality stainless steel clamps included. Lifetime manufacturer's warranty against defects.

Unlike original rubber hoses that harden, crack, and can eventually burst, VMQ silicone maintains its flexibility and mechanical integrity throughout the vehicle's service life. Compatible with all standard coolants available on the market (G11, G12, G12+, G13).

Applications and Compatible Models

This kit is designed exclusively for the Peugeot 309 GTI 8V fitted with the 1905 cc XU9J2 engine (8 valves, 130 hp DIN), produced from 1987 to 1993. It is also compatible with the catalysed variant XU9-JA/Z (122 hp DIN) available from 1993, end of production.

The Peugeot 309 GTI 8V is a 3-door hatchback sharing the same 1905 cc engine family as the 205 GTI 1.9.
