REDOX manufactures high-performance custom silicone hoses based on your digital technical specifications. This service is aimed at professionals and individuals seeking an unavailable or specific hose without having to provide a physical sample.

Manufacturing process workflow

The customer submits two essential technical files: a 3D model in STP format (STEP) representing the complete geometry of the hose, and a dimensioned technical drawing in PDF format specifying exact dimensions, inner diameters, outer diameters, lengths and angles. Our engineering department analyses these documents, validates technical feasibility and prepares the necessary tooling. Manufacturing starts once the customer approves the quotation.

Technical specifications of REDOX silicone

Our custom-made hoses are manufactured from multi-layer VMQ silicone reinforced with polyester. The material withstands continuous operating temperatures from -50°C to +180°C. Standard wall thickness is 4mm, adjustable according to pressure and flexibility requirements. The silicone resists coolants, mineral and synthetic oils, fuels with optional special inner layer. Multi-layer construction guarantees pressure resistance up to 5 bar.

Standard manufacturing lead time is 3 to 6 weeks depending on part complexity and current order backlog. REDOX maintains a large stock of silicone raw materials allowing rapid production start. Once the hose is manufactured, shipping is carried out within 48 hours to France and Europe via GLS carrier with real-time tracking. Manufacturing moulds are kept for 10 years, allowing future reorders without new development costs.
