REDOX Megaflex silicone hose Ø28 mm bore, 1 m length. One-piece VMQ construction with helical galvanised steel wire embedded in the wall: anti-collapse under vacuum and suction. -60/+180 °C. Minimum bend radius 168 mm.

REDOX Megaflex silicone hose, Ø28 mm inner bore, 1 m length. One-piece VMQ Vinyl Methyl Silicone construction with helical galvanised steel wire fully embedded in the silicone wall. The wire never contacts the conveyed fluid. 65-75 Shore A hardness, -60 °C to +180 °C.
Role of the steel helix: prevent collapse of the section under vacuum, suction or external load. Typical applications: underhood suction and vacuum lines, turbo cold-side intake, engine ventilation.
Important: the steel helix imposes a minimum bend radius of 168 mm (6 × inner diameter). A tighter bend will crush the wire and may damage the inner silicone layer. Not recommended for fuels or sustained high-temperature oil (see FVMQ range with H suffix). Stainless worm-drive clamps recommended. Made in France.
