Technical construction

The REDOX RDX60-65C90L100 elbow reducer combines a diameter transition (from 60 mm to 65 mm) and a 90 deg bend in a single part. The wall is a composite of 4 crossed polyester plies embedded in a premium VMQ silicone matrix, ensuring dimensional stability under heat and resisting pressure-induced creep. Internal bend radius is set at 1.5 times the larger of the two diameters to maintain flow rate and prevent stream necking. Wide thermal range -60/+180 deg C, peaks to +210 deg C, 5 bar working pressure (burst above 15 bar at 23 deg C). Matte outer finish, smooth inner surface to reduce flow losses.

Applications

Designed for angular diameter transitions on turbocharger lines, intercooler piping, engine cooling, water return loops, intake and boost circuits. Essential whenever the diameter change must occur together with a direction change, removing the need for a straight reducer plus separate elbow. Compatible with gasoline, diesel, E85, methanol and glycol coolant.
