Post-turbo charge air heat and PCV oil vapours mandate the FVMQ fluorosilicone inner liner. Multi-layer VMQ outer, polyester reinforcement, 5 mm wall, -50/+200 °C continuous, 65-75 Shore A. W4 stainless clamps recommended. Common cause of smoke, boost loss and engine faults on ageing 156 JTD when OEM hoses fail.
