REDOX silicone hose for the air intake circuit of the Mercedes-Benz 380 SLC coupe (chassis C107, M116 E38 V8 3818 cc SOHC 16-valve K-Jetronic injection, 218 hp at 5500 rpm, 299 Nm at 4000 rpm). Production strictly 1980-1981 — SLC coupe was discontinued and replaced by the S-Klasse SEC C126 in late 1981 — making it a rare and sought-after Mercedes collector. PCV system continuously recycles crankcase oil vapours into intake, mandating the FVMQ fluorosilicone inner liner for chemical resistance to hydrocarbons up to +200 °C continuous.
