Silicone reducer elbow 45°, 85-100 mm, 100 mm legs

REDOX 45° silicone reducer elbow joining an 85 mm pipe to a 100 mm pipe while changing direction by 45 degrees, in a single part. Made of vulcanised VMQ silicone with 5-ply polyester reinforcement, it withstands -60 °C to +180 °C and suits coolant, oil mist and turbo boost air circuits.

Why 5-ply reinforcement at this diameter

Above 80 mm, the internal surface exposed to pressure is large enough for a 3 or 4-ply hose to balloon under boost or deform when hot. Five layers of polyester fabric keep the section round under pressure and prevent collapse under vacuum.

Are clamps included? No. Choose stainless steel clamps sized for 85 mm and 100 mm from the REDOX clamp range.

Can it carry fuel or oil? VMQ withstands oil mist but not permanent contact with fuel or liquid oil: for that, choose a version with an FVMQ inner layer.
