  • Silicone hose 10 mm ID, 2 m, with FVMQ inner lining

REDOX silicone hose with a 10 mm inner diameter, supplied in a 2 metre length, designed to carry fuel, oil and oil mist. Its FVMQ fluorosilicone inner lining forms a chemical barrier against hydrocarbons, while the VMQ silicone outer body keeps the flexibility and heat resistance of silicone. It can be cut to the length you need.

    Why an FVMQ inner lining

Standard VMQ silicone handles heat but swells and degrades under prolonged contact with fuel and oil. FVMQ fluorosilicone, a silicone with part of its groups fluorinated, withstands that permanent contact. Combining both gives a hose with fluorosilicone chemical resistance inside and the flexibility and thermal performance of silicone outside.

    Applications

    • Crankcase breathers and oil catch tanks
    • Fuel and oil return lines
    • Oil mist and crankcase ventilation circuits
    • Replacement for hardened nitrile rubber hoses

    Frequently asked questions

Can it carry coolant? Yes, but a standard VMQ hose is enough and costs less. The FVMQ version is justified whenever oil or fuel is involved.

Can it take high-pressure fuel pump pressure? No. It suits low-pressure and return circuits. A high-pressure injection line needs a dedicated hose.

Can it be cut? Yes, with a sharp blade, in one clean cut square to the axis.
